The pace and success of the Fast Track RTPS Expansion Schemes of Units 5,6 and 7, has inspired and motivated KPCL to further expand the Thermal Power station, by adding one more Unit(8), with an installed capacity of 250 MW and 1500 MU/annum. Drawing on its experience gathered during the expansion of Units 5,6 and 7, KPCL is confident that Unit 8 too would be commissioned in a record time. It is confident too, that this Project would be even more economical and viable. The land and other infrastructure are in place.
